An Nhiên Dental opened in March 2021 (fictional) at 66/3 Trần Quốc Thảo, Xuân Hòa ward, in what used to be District 3. It is a small clinic: four dentists, four treatment chairs, one surgery room and one imaging room. This page explains what each room is for, what happens to the instruments before they reach your chair, and who you will meet.
The rooms
| Room | What it is used for |
|---|---|
| Four treatment chairs | Exams and consultations, cleaning, fillings, root canal treatment, preparing and fitting crowns, fitting braces, orthodontic reviews |
| One surgery room | Implant placement, bone grafts, and wisdom tooth removal when the dentist decides it should be done in a separate room |
| One imaging room | Panoramic X-rays and Cone Beam CT (a 3D scan of the jaw bone) |
X-rays are taken only when the dentist needs one to decide, not as a routine for everyone. Prices are on the price list: a panoramic X-ray from 200,000 VND and a Cone Beam CT from 500,000 VND, as listed on 4 October 2026, final after the dentist’s exam. For implants, Dr Đoàn Minh Khôi takes the CT scan and walks you through it on screen before he gives you a quote.
How instruments are handled
Every patient gets their own set of instruments. The routine has four steps:
- Single-use items go. Gloves, saliva ejectors, rinsing cups and other single-use items are thrown away after each patient.
- Clean and pack. Reusable instruments are cleaned and packed separately for each patient.
- Steam sterilisation. The packs are sterilised with steam.
- Logging. Each sterilisation cycle is written in a log, so the clinic can tell which pack went through which step.
You are welcome to ask to see your pack before the dentist starts. The break from 12:00 to 13:00 each day is for processing instruments and for staff rest; the phone is still answered.
Who you will meet
Four dentists, two dental assistants and one receptionist. Vietnamese dentists carry a title that shows their postgraduate training, so you will see it next to each name:
- Dr Đoàn Minh Khôi, BS.CKII (specialist level II, a postgraduate clinical qualification in Vietnam): crowns and implants, and the person professionally responsible for the clinic. 18 years in practice. Explains in English.
- Dr Phạm Ngọc Diệp, BS.CKI (specialist level I): general and cosmetic dentistry. 12 years in practice.
- Dr Võ Thanh Tùng, ThS.BS (Master of Science and medical doctor): orthodontics. 14 years in practice. Explains in English.
- Dr Trần Hà My, BS.CKI (specialist level I): root canal treatment and children’s dentistry. 10 years in practice.
Each dentist’s practising licence number (fictional) is on the licences and scope page. Profiles, working days and the articles each dentist wrote are on the dentists page. The receptionist is the person who phones to confirm your booking, within 2 working hours of your request.
