Work at An Nhiên: three illustrative roles

A four-chair clinic needs few people, so each person does several things and knows what the others do. The three roles below describe the work, the requirements and how to apply, the way a real clinic would write them.

General dentist (illustration)

• The work: exams and consultations, cleaning, fillings, and written treatment plans and quotes for patients.
• Requirements: a practising licence for medical examination and treatment with a suitable scope. The licence number would be published on the licences and scope page and on the dentist’s profile.
• How we work: explain in plain words, give the starting price and what is not included before any work, and promise no outcome. You would work alongside Dr Đoàn Minh Khôi, BS.CKII (specialist level II, a postgraduate clinical qualification in Vietnam), who is professionally responsible for the clinic.

Dental assistant (illustration)

• The work: prepare the chair and instruments, assist the dentist during procedures, and process instruments the clinic’s way: discard single-use items, clean, pack per patient, steam-sterilise and log.
• Requirements: a qualification suited to dental assisting, and care with every logging step.
• Hours: shifts within the clinic’s opening hours.

Receptionist (illustration)

• The work: phone patients to confirm bookings within 2 working hours of their request, schedule around each dentist’s working days, handle changes and cancellations, and guide first-time patients.
• Requirements: a calm phone manner, accurate notes, and discretion with patient information under the privacy policy. English is a plus, since some patients live in Vietnam from abroad.
